Organic oranges
The
orange is an excellent dessert fruit, rich in vitamin C and P as well as calcium
and phosphates. The covering peel preserves cleanness, hygiene and dressed with
sugar gives good jams. The peel is also used in the pastry shop and provides
fragrances for liqueurs, perfumes and drugs.
The
oranges can be broadly divided in two main varieties: blond and red. The
most common are Navelina, Ovale and Valencia as blond and Tarocco, Moro and
Sanguinello as red.
